Social Analytics (how your posts are doing)

Updated Jul 10, 2026

Social Analytics shows how your social presence is doing — and, more importantly, what to do next. Find it in the sidebar under CONTENT → Social Analytics.

Pick a time window at the top — 7d, 30d, or 90d — and every panel on the page updates together. Numbers refresh from your connected platforms about every 20 minutes.

What you'll see

  • This period in plain English — a 2–4 sentence AI summary of how your social is performing, with one concrete next step. Click Get plain-English summary to generate it (uses 1 AI credit; asking again in the same period reuses the cached summary at no extra cost, and if there isn't enough data yet, you're told so and no credit is spent).
  • How you're doing — posting consistency, followers, and engagement, each compared to the previous period so you can see what changed.
  • Best time to post — the day-and-hour slots where your posts have historically earned the most engagement. The Planner and review spotlights use these slots too.
  • Google Business performance — when your Google Business Profile is connected: how often you showed up, plus website clicks, calls, and direction requests.
  • What worked (top posts by engagement) — your best posts for the window. Click Repurpose on one to adapt it for your other connected channels; drafts land in Content Studio's Needs review, never straight to your feed (see Content Studio). Posts you've already repurposed show a badge with their history.

"Some data may be incomplete"

If one of your connections has a problem (an expired login, a disconnected page), the page still works — you'll see a notice at the top naming what couldn't be loaded. Reconnect that platform on the Connections page and the missing panels fill back in.

Just connected, or just started posting?

Analytics needs something to analyze. If you're new, post a few times and give it about a week — the engagement panels and best-time slots appear once real data starts flowing. Until then you'll see friendly "not enough data yet" notes, not errors.

Which plans include it?

The full page is included on Growth and Pro (and during your trial). On Starter, you can open the page and see your core facts — your Google Business numbers, followers, and engagement — but the AI summary, best-time slots, and top-post details are part of the upgrade: you'll see a preview of what's waiting, and upgrading unlocks it instantly (see Plans & Billing).

Frequently asked questions

Why don't these numbers exactly match what Facebook/Instagram shows me? Different windows and refresh times. We compare fixed 7/30/90-day windows and refresh about every 20 minutes, while the platforms' own dashboards use their own windows and update continuously. Trends will match; exact counts can differ slightly.

Does looking at analytics cost credits? No — browsing the page is free. Only the optional plain-English AI summary costs a credit (1), and repeating it in the same period doesn't charge again.

Why is "Best time to post" empty or odd-looking? It's built from your own posting history. With only a handful of posts, the slots can look sparse or surprising — they get smarter as you publish more.

Can I act on a top post directly from here? Yes — that's the point of What worked. Click Repurpose and the post is adapted for your other channels as drafts you approve in Content Studio.
