Your Website — Connect, Measure & Improve

Updated Jun 26, 2026

SocialBizHub works with the website you already have — WordPress, Wix, a booking engine, or anything else. Connect your site and we'll give you a plain-language health grade, speed scores, fix-it suggestions, and domain & email checks, then help you embed your reviews. There's nothing to migrate and no site to rebuild.

Open the Website section in the sidebar to get started. It has pages for Overview (your grade and what to fix next), Health (the full speed and domain report), Analytics (website traffic, on Growth and Pro), and Blogs (write and publish posts to your WordPress site, on Growth and Pro).

Step 1 — Add your website URL

  1. In the sidebar, open Website → Overview.
  2. In the Website URL box, enter your live address (for example https://www.yourbusiness.com) and click Save URL.
  3. We immediately start checking your site — you'll see the results fill in.

You can also set or change the URL when you add or edit a location.

Overview — your grade and what to fix next

The Overview page is your at-a-glance summary:

  • Your site health grade (A–F with a score out of 100), blending everything we measure — performance, search-friendliness, accessibility, best practices, and your domain & email setup — and highlighting your biggest opportunity.
  • A "What to fix next" list that puts the highest-impact issues first, so you always know where to start.
  • A quick traffic snapshot (on Growth and Pro).

If we can only measure some signals (for example, before a speed audit finishes), the grade is based on what's available and says so.

Health — speed & performance

Open Website → Health for the full report. We run Google PageSpeed on your site and show four scores — Performance, Accessibility, Best practices, and SEO — plus your Core Web Vitals (the loading and stability measurements Google uses for ranking).

  • Use the Mobile / Desktop tabs to switch which version is measured. Mobile is what most guests use, so it's the default.
  • Click Recheck any time to get fresh numbers (it also adds a point to your grade-over-time trend).
  • The improvement suggestions list the highest-impact fixes — things like oversized images or slow-loading scripts — in priority order.
  • Tap Explain my grade for a plain-English, AI-written summary of what your scores mean and the single best next fix (uses 1 AI credit).

Is my site up? (availability monitoring)

We automatically check your site every 15 minutes. The Health page shows whether it's currently up, and if it ever goes down we'll email you so you can act fast (and again when it's back online). Downtime alerts use the same on/off switch as your monthly report (Website → Overview).

SEO basics

The Health page also checks the on-page essentials search engines — and AI search — look for on your homepage: your page title, meta description, a single main heading, a mobile viewport, a canonical link, and structured data. Each shows a simple green / yellow / red status with a one-line tip, and anything that needs attention shows up in What to fix next.

Broken links

On the Health page we also check the links on your homepage and flag any that are broken (pointing to a missing page). Broken links frustrate visitors and can hurt your search ranking, so it's worth fixing any we find.

Compare to a competitor

Curious how your site speed stacks up? On the Health page, paste a competitor's website into Compare to a competitor and we'll show your speed and SEO scores side-by-side with theirs.

Listings coverage

On the Overview page, Listings coverage shows how many of the major review platforms (Google, Yelp, Tripadvisor, Airbnb, Hipcamp, RV LIFE) you're connected to. The more places you're listed, the more ways new customers can find you — connect any you're missing from the Integrations page.

Tip: A common quick win is embedding your review widget above the fold. Social proof often lifts engagement without touching your site's theme.

Domain & email health

Also on the Health page, we check the parts of your online presence that quietly cause problems:

  • HTTPS certificate — confirms your site is secure and warns before the certificate expires (an expired one shows visitors a "not secure" warning).
  • Domain registration — how many days until your domain renews. If it lapses, your website and email go down at the same time, so we flag it early.
  • Business email — which provider handles your email (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and so on).
  • SPF and DMARC — email security records. Without them, spammers can send email that looks like it came from you, and your real email is more likely to land in spam.

Each item shows a simple green / yellow / red status with a one-line explanation of what to do.

Analytics — website traffic (Google Analytics)

On the Growth and Pro plans, the Website → Analytics page connects your Google Analytics 4 property so you can see how many people visit your site — without opening Google Analytics.

  1. Open Website → Analytics and click Connect Google Analytics.
  2. Sign in with the Google account that has access to your Analytics, and allow read-only access.
  3. Pick the Analytics property that tracks your website.

Once connected you'll see, for the last 28 days: sessions, visitors, page views (each with how they compare to the prior 28 days), a sessions trend, your top traffic sources, and your top pages. Tap Explain my traffic for an AI summary of what's driving the trend (uses 1 AI credit). Click Refresh for the latest numbers, or Disconnect to remove the connection. We only ever read your Analytics data — we never change it.

Search performance (Google Search Console)

On the same Analytics page you can also connect Google Search Console to see the searches that bring people to your site. Click Connect Search Console, sign in with the Google account that has access, and pick your verified site.

You'll then see, for the last 28 days: clicks, impressions, your average click-through rate, your average position in search results, plus your top searches and top pages. (Search Console data runs a couple of days behind, so the most recent days may not appear yet.)

Blogs — publish to your WordPress site

On the Growth and Pro plans, the Website → Blogs page lets you write blog posts and publish them straight to your WordPress site — without leaving SocialBizHub.

First time? Connect WordPress (one click):

  1. Open Website → Blogs and click Download plugin (.zip).
  2. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload the file, and activate it.
  3. In WordPress, open Settings → SocialBizHub and click Connect to SocialBizHub. You'll be brought back here to approve and pick the location.

There are no API keys to copy, and connecting also powers the reviews block for your site.

Keeping the plugin updated: the SocialBizHub plugin updates itself — when a new version is available, WordPress shows it on your Plugins screen just like any other plugin, and you can switch on Enable auto-updates there to keep it current automatically. (If you installed an early version and don't see the auto-update option yet, update the plugin once from the Plugins screen and it will appear.)

Write and publish a post:

  1. Give your post a title, or type a topic and click Generate article to have AI write a draft for you (uses AI credits).
  2. Edit the body (basic HTML is supported).
  3. Optionally add a featured image — click Upload image to add one from your device, or Generate image with AI (uses AI credits).
  4. Choose a status — save as a Draft to review in WordPress first, or Publish immediately — add an optional category, and (optionally) schedule it for later.
  5. Click Publish / Schedule. Your posts appear in the Your posts list with their status and a link to the live post; you can retry anything that fails or remove drafts.

You can disconnect at any time from the Disconnect link on the Blogs page or from the plugin in WordPress.

Your monthly report card

Once a month we email you a short website report card for each connected site: your health grade and how it changed since last month, your biggest opportunity (the best next fix), and — on Growth and Pro — a quick traffic summary. It's the easiest way to keep an eye on your site without logging in.

Don't want it? Turn it off from the Monthly email report toggle on Website → Overview, or click Unsubscribe at the bottom of any report email.

Embed your reviews

From Website → Overview (or Health), click Open widget builder to create a review carousel or feed and copy the snippet into your site. See Review Widgets for the full walkthrough.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to move my website to SocialBizHub? No. Keep your site exactly where it is. We connect to it to measure performance and help you embed reviews — we don't host or replace it.

Why is one of the domain checks "Unknown"? Occasionally a lookup times out on the first try. Click Recheck and it will almost always resolve.

How often do the scores update? Results are cached so the page loads fast. Click Recheck on the Health page whenever you want the latest numbers.

The speed score seems low — is something broken? Not necessarily. Mobile performance scores are strict. Work through the improvement suggestions from the top; each one tells you what to fix and why it matters.

Can I track more than one website? Yes — each location has its own website URL and its own report. Switch locations from the sidebar.
